John has alway used GoPros for his diving cameras and this is waterproof to 33 feet. This is the latest technology and offers more resolution and frame rate than you probably need but that gives you more publishing options. My favorite feature is the front screen so I don't have to guess if I have cut off the top of my head when filming myself.
This kit is a must add if you plan to dive!! While the camera is waterproof to 33ft, most of us like to go deeper. This case is waterproof to 196 feet. If you find yourself deeper than that, you have more problems than a flooded camera. It also comes with the proper color filters for various depths and a macro lense for those lovely small creatures that are my favorite.
Once again DJI hits it out of the park! The mini 3 is the perfect size because it is under the weight limit to requie a license in some countries (check local regulations just to be safe) and it is easy to carry around in the compact case. I don't want life to feel weighed down schlepping camera gear around. This drone, my phone and the GoPro are our go to gear when we are on the go.
